What Para is.

Para is not a program. It’s a model.

What’s the difference and why should you care? Programs are usually completed by individuals or groups and are designed with a beginning and an end. That means their participants have to fend for themselves once the program is done. So, they jump to the next program, then the next, then the next. This all may add up to some benefit, it rarely produces disciple-making fruit that lasts.

That’s why we developed a model. Para has a beginning, but it doesn’t have an end. Instead of an abrupt stop, it is designed to lead you into ongoing relationships with people built around a shared interest in becoming more like Jesus.

Para includes The Para Devo book, the Para Podcast, disciple “cheat codes” (aka, articles), and support. The most important feature of Para, however, comes from it’s name. It’s not about the tools. Your most valuable resource will be your Para Partner. All of the tools equip, empower, and release you to have iron-sharpening conversations with other people about becoming more like Jesus. That’s the bottom line. We are here to equip, empower, and release you to become more like Jesus so you can do the same for others.

We are with you.
